Particularly in the current economic environment, healthcare services and information technology companies are challenged by cutbacks in the operating and capital budgets of hospital systems and health plans, long decision cycles and limited executive level access to hospitals and health plans.

Given our exclusive focus in the healthcare vertical coupled with our relationships with industry executives, we are often viewed as an investor of choice by both entrepreneurs and other private equity firms.  Leading private equity firms such as Sequoia Capital, Hellman & Friedman, The Carlyle Group, and New Enterprise Associates have invited us to co-invest because of our reputation for creating value.  These relationships as well as others in the private equity community enable us to access additional capital, if necessary, to finance large opportunities.
